An Ode To Surf Spray

Dear Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray,

When I don’t have time to dry my hair before lunch

You give me great waves without the crunch.

I don’t know how it’s done,

but without you I’d resort to a bun.

You smell like the beach,

You’re such a peach.

Although I wish you came in a bigger size,

you have prevented my hair’s demise.

For serious though, this stuff is A-MAH-ZING.  At $23 for a 4 ounce bottle I was hesitant to buy, but I fortunately had a Sephora gift card just itching to be used.  You don’t need a lot of it either, just a few spritzes here and there.  Once applied, pull your fingers through your hair to your ends and shake your strands out.  Don’t scrunch!  Let your hair air dry and don’t touch it.  You could use a diffuser, but that really takes away from the whole “I just came out of the ocean” vibe.

{See?? Perfecto waves!}

Happy Weekend!

I will be away until Monday, so I leave you with this adorable video of a kitten having a nightmare and needing a hug.  Watch.  Awwww. Repeat.

Mocha Milkshake

Have I told you how much I love coffee?  In case you forgot, I really do.  Today, I made a mocha milkshake.  With coffee cubes.  It was delicious.

Note: this would be even better with Kahlua or Bailey’s, just sayin’.

Coffee Cubes

I legit can’t handle watered down iced coffee.  It really grosses me out, so I generally chug an iced latte in .5 seconds just to avoid this dilemma.  Enter coffee cubes.  What are they might you ask?  Ice cubes made out of coffee!  You can make them with any kind you want, and when they melt, your iced coffee doesn’t taste horrendously watered down.  Problem solved!

I also really want these coffee bean ice cube trays specifically for this purpose:
