Nerd Alert: Warby Parker Glasses

I love glasses. I think they’re fantastic especially on those days when I just don’t feel like wearing my contacts. However, my old frames were not cute and my prescription was slightly off so I never wore them. I decided it was time for an upgrade, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. Enter Warby Parker.

The geniuses over there only charge $95 for your frames and lenses! That’s a huge deal. AND they’re partnered with VisionSpring so for every pair sold, a pair gets donated. It’s TOMS for glasses. I opted for their at home try-on program where you select up to 5 frames to be sent to your house. They have blank lenses so you can wear them wherever and see which ones suit you the best. Then you ship them back, and go online and pick your favorite to get filled with your script or pick 5 more to try! FOR FREE. Yeah, I know.

After careful consideration, I opted for the Pierce in Oakwood Brown, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m obsessed, and so what if I look like a hipster.
