Fifty Shades

You thought this was going to be about Fifty Shades Of Grey didn’t you? Gotcha! Yes, I’ve read all three books. Yes, I loved all of them. Yes, I love Christian Grey and am not above stumbling into random offices in downtown Atlanta just to find a CEO who will take me out for coffee. Or dinner. Or whatever. And if he so happens to look like Ian Somerhalder who I am dying for the Hollywood gods to cast as Mr. Grey, then so be it. I won’t complain. ANYWAY…

Working at a spa means you have to maintain some kind of relaxing and pleasing aesthetic. Our place is black and white with hard wood floors and touches of silver and amber. It’s super pretty and clean and looks how you would want a spa to look. I have to wear all white. Everyday. I had no idea how difficult this was. I thought I had a lot of white in my wardrobe, but I was very very wrong.

[This shirt would fall under "blend-with-the-wall" white]

So happy to have my Party At Gatsby’s sweatshirt from g4tsby tees!

But really.

A Charming Woman Is A Busy Woman

Loretta Young said that. She was an actress and won an Oscar for The Farmer’s Daughter, and I pretty much believe that anyone with an Oscar knows what they’re talking about. Except James Cameron because that guy is effing crazy. Okay so in addition to trying to open an online store, write a book, publish a collection of poetry, edit and write for CollegeCandy, write for Crushable, freelance, blog, and have a social life (note that sleeping is not on this list) I have started working full-time at the Skyn ClinicThis is of course until I find my real-life “career” job, whatever that actually means. HIRE ME. I’m not begging, I swear.

[I am trying to avoid being like this douchebag]

I’ll also plainly admit that several of the cover letters I sent out last week had references including but not limited to: the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Pokemon, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Toy Story, and Dead Poets Society. Some may or may not have been signed with “You’re welcome.” YOLO?!

Anywho, I am doing lots of things and don’t want to neglect you all so I’m sorry that’s happened over the past few days.

To make up for it, check out one of my favorite YouTube videos of this puppy that can’t roll over:

Quick DIY: Paint Your Light Switch

I didn’t want to leave you all without something for the day. Sometimes doing the littlest thing can make a big difference. For instance, I made over my light switch. Magic lives on and all that #harrypotter.

Would y’all like to see these in the upcoming store?

Shop Me

If you follow me on Instagram (@caitlincorsetti) you would have seen this little guy yesterday.

I am currently in the process of building a store so you can shop stuff made by me! And I’ll be holding an online garage sale of sorts because I realized I have a bunch of awesome things that need new homes. So please bear with me this week if I’m a little slow or lacking in posts!
