The Simple Arm Party

As much as I love arm parties with lots and lots of guests, sometimes I just like a simple bangle or two. I’ve been favoring this feather cuff that I got on a trip in Arizona when I was in seventh grade. We went on one of those Native American cave tours, and I picked up this cuff and matching earrings. I didn’t appreciate it then, but it’s easily my favorite piece of jewelry these days.

While it’s tempting to throw on every bracelet and watch that you own, remember it’s okay to dial it back and take the simple route.

Neon Colorblocking

[BDG Jeans from @UrbanOutfitters, neon tank from @H&M, Kingdom Flats from @SteveMadden]

I went on a mini shopping haul the other day as part of my graduation freakout and cleaned up shop at H&M with some great summer basics. I didn’t think I’d be breaking out any jeans this summer, but after a storm last night today was incredibly cool. Because I’ve yet to unpack, I could only find my green jeans and decided to pair them with a neon tank. It’s hard to tell in the pictures, but the back is sheer so it’s perfect to wear with bandeau or a cute lace bra underneath.

Meet Persifor

Caitlin Corsetti

[Smitty Dress-Jaguar in Emerald Green c/o Persifor]

The lovely folks at Persifor approached me to try out their Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which I must say is incredible. Persifor was founded by designer Alex Thompson who has worked in design and merchandising for J. Crew and Lilly Pulitzer so you know she has trendy, simple, and chic on her mind! The Persifor brand pairs up with artists to create fabulous prints that are perfect for any occasion.

My favorite thing about this company is the choice in fabric. Alex developed a fabric that works like Nike Dri-FIT, keeping you cool and sweat-free. It’s amazing. I wore this dress in the ridiculous Atlanta heat and didn’t even feel the least bit uncomfortable. AND it doesn’t wrinkle! Persifor makes dresses, skirts, and some pretty great accessories. It’s definitely a go-to brand for summer outfits, so check it out!

I’m Back!

Well, it finally happened. I graduated from college. I am officially an alumni of The University of Alabama. I’ve recently written about my newfound place in the “Real World” over at CollegeCandy so check that out. So after doing this:

And a lot of this:

I have ended up with this:

I have a lot of stuff. Sue me. In an effort to avoid unpacking, I have housed myself in the guest room. Hm it seems that pesky thing called procrastination doesn’t stop once you’re a graduate. Oh well!

I have a billion exciting things to share with you all in the next few weeks! Like super top secret exciting things. Please bear with me as I transition back into life at home. Remember my whole technology crashing dilemma? Well, my laptop has officially been declared unsalvageable. I’m selling it for parts. My desktop on the other hand is being repaired as we speak so hopefully things will be back to normal soon!

Did you graduate? Are you graduating? Let me know how you’re feeling!

xoxo
