Photoshoots

Featured and Word of the Day Wednesdays

I am so thrilled to be featured on my dear friend Josh Epperson’s website! We shot this amazing editorial back in January for Flickrista, and it still makes me happy to see the best work we’ve done together posted in new places.

As for Word of the Day Wednesdays, my desktop crashed and I have been working without Photoshop and the rest of my graphic design tools for the past two weeks. We don’t have easy access to an Apple store here, so I have to wait until I go home after graduation to get it fixed. Until then, I can’t make anything cute unless I want to go sit in the edit lab, which I don’t have time for.

Today’s word was going to be traverse:

verb (v.) to travel across or through; extend across or through; cross a hill or mountain by means of a series of sideways movements; law deny (an allegation) in pleading; archaic oppose or thwart (a plan).

Origin: Middle English (sense 3 of the verb) : from Old French traverser, from late Latin traversare; the noun is from Old French travers (masculine), traverse (feminine), partly based on traverser.

Get Shot At

I’m super excited to share a sneak peek of my photo shoot from Sunday with my extraordinarily talented friend, Josh Epperson. We went to middle school together when we were both totally awkward. He’s amazing. This shoot was by far the best we’ve ever done, and I can’t wait to show the rest when they come out!!
