Real Life Is Happening
Today I bought my cap and gown for graduation. I had been putting it off until the last minute because it’s really difficult to accept the fact that my college years will soon be behind me. Well, I was right by the supply store today, and I didn’t want to walk all the way over there at some other point in time so I figured it was time. Not because I actually wanted to or made a point to do it, but because of the convenience. If that’s not part of senioritis, I don’t know what is.
Now it’s official. The countdown will be at 30 days tomorrow, and I’m currently in the market for a graduation outfit. I’m not necessarily scared of graduating because to tell you the truth, I’m sick of school. I’ve been learning things out of books for my whole life. I think it’s about time to learn things from real life experiences away from textbooks and PDFs. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet or where (Atlanta, New York, California, Italy, Australia?) but I do know that I’m ready for the next part of my life. And I’m excited to take you all with me wherever I go!
