American Cancer Society

American Cancer Society had just begun its partnership with Dagger when I joined the agency in 2018. It’s not often you get to start with a client on Day One, and I’m fortunate to have gotten that opportunity with ACS.

They specifically wanted to enhance their social presence and create more ownable content. With my expertise in social media and a knack for delivering innovative, evergreen content, I served as the creative lead on the account.


I'm extremely proud of the work I led for American Cancer Society during my time at Dagger. In addition to evergreen content focused on telling the stories of those affected by cancer, we created an End of Year campaign to drive donations during the holiday season. We created over 75 assets in three weeks to raise awareness and increase donations. With our strategic targeting funnel, we created content that pulled audiences in with emotion and slowly introduced hard-hitting CTAs.

The End of Year campaign resulted in a marked increase in unaided awareness & charity of choice, a 30 percent increase in Giving Tuesday revenue YoY, and a nearly 4000 percent increase in Facebook Fundraising YOY.
